Love Aaj Kal

There are three reasons why you must catch Love Aaj Kal ASAP – dialogues, performances and music. Imtiaz Ali's tale of love, then and now is a light hearted and refreshing watch. Burnout, commitment phobia, long distance relationships – issues the minus 30-generation can easily identify with, are subtly touched upon throughout the movie. Here's a film that actually talks the talk. Like Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met, Imtiaz Ali's third film also rests on a wafer-thin plot. The director uses smart one-liners and life-like situations to take the story forward. Love Aaj Kal is about Jai (Saif Ali Khan) an urban, alpha male who can't understand the meaning of love. His girl friend Meera (Deepika Padukone) also believes in choosing career over romance. After a mutual breakup, Jai meets the grand old Veer (Rishi Kapoor). He narrates his own love story to give Jai a peak into old-fashioned romance. The conflicting approaches to love form the base of Love Aaj Kal.

The narrative runs in multiple timelines – which can get confusing sometimes. Imtiaz Ali uses a clever, non-linear edit pattern to draw parallels between his two stories. Saif Ali Khan is in home turf as Jai. Playing a role similar to Kal Ho Na Ho and Hum Tum, Saif is charming as ever with his wise cracks and mannerisms. However it's in the emotional sequences towards the end, where you realise how much he has matured over the years. Casting him as young Rishi Kapoor, is bit of a cinematic liberty. But it works in the context of the film - even though Khan's Punjabi is not very authentic. You can often sense the metrosexual Saif wanting to break out of the turban.

Acid Factory

Our memory is the source of all emotions. It is also the source of our guilt. What if a killer would wake up one day with his memory erased? Would his crimes cease to exits? What if an innocent wakes up one with his memory erased and perceives himself to be a criminal? Would that change his perception of reality?
Faltering memory continually alters the constancy of truth. Short term memory loss denies you of an identity throwing you into an abyss of excruciating agony.
Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like they have woken up from sleep only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination.
Their sense of right or wrong is heightened by this state of complete distrust and self-righteousness. As the story reveals through the hazy mist of confusion confounded by loss of memory, the audience is just shown the tip of the iceberg.
A high-octane thriller where every second counts and every flash of your past is either a step towards realization of the true self or the horror of the discovery of who you really are. And then the games begin as our characters start to create stories just so that they can stay in the right but what if a roomful of people realize the majority is evil?

Once the reigning composer of Bollywood, it was Himesh whose songs were heard in every nook and corner of India , and Himesh emerged as a true rock star. But since the excess of anything is bad and so it was with Himesh , who instead of trying to change his monotonous (although much loved ) style was just making hay while the sun shines and ultimately people got tired of his nasal singing and his last outing, Satish Kaushik's musical offering KARZZZZ turned out to be a debacle . So after lying low for quite a while, Himesh is back with another musical offering in form of RADIO. Will RADIO prove to be another similar sounding nasal crooning songs or will Himesh get his act together and show us his vintage touch of TERE NAAM, KYON KI etc ? Well, lets get on and see what Himesh has on offer.

Wanted

The movie would probably do better if another actor was in it instead of Salman Khan. I have nothing against him but I didn't really like his previous movie "GOD TUSI GREAT HO". He claims to be a MUSLIM but put an insult to the name of ISLAM. There is no one greater than GOD, therefore no one can act to be God. In my opinion he should act in a movie like that and claim to be muslim man.

If he is a true muslim he should have known better. Anyway my apologies if this review of mine has effected anyone weither it's his fans or friend and family members. My intension is never to hurt any one. Last but not least, Salman Khan is not so cool anymore, at least not in my list of actors

Tum Mile

Composer Pritam has churned out appealing tunes for the album of "Tum Mile", which stars Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan. The score is an all-male domain as none of the tracks features a female playback singer. The title song "Tum Mile" has three versions and is crooned by different singers. The first of the three has Neeraj Shridhar behind the microphone. It is a bouncy song that includes a few English lyrics as well. But this version doesn't impress much. The next is a melodious mushy offering by Javed Ali. It is slower in pace but more appealing. The song succeeds in creating a romantic feel. The third one is the rock version, which is equally nice and is sung wonderfully by Shafqat Amanat Ali. High on electric guitar, this version is very impressive and has the potential to be a chartbuster. Next is "Dil Ibaadat", sung by KK. This soft-paced song is a signature Pritam composition.
